Privacy Policy

This page explains, in plain language, what information StampCrossing collects and how it's used. We aim to collect no more than what's needed to run the swap community.
What we collect
- Account details: username, email address, password (stored securely, never in plain text).
- Profile info you choose to add: postal address, country, bio, swap preferences, languages, avatar.
- Swap activity: tracking codes, exchange status, ratings, photos and comments you post.
Why we collect it
Your postal address is only used to let other members send you swaps, and is never shown publicly on your profile. Everything else helps the community function — matching swaps, showing your posts in the feed, and letting other members find your public profile.
Who can see what
Your username, avatar, bio, country, and swap posts are visible to other members. Your postal address is only shared with the specific member you're matched with for a swap, and only for as long as needed to send your envelope.
Your rights
You can update your profile information at any time from your account settings. You can also delete your account entirely, which removes your personal data from our systems.
If you are in the EU/EEA or California, you have additional rights under GDPR / CCPA, including the right to request a copy of your data. Contact us and we'll help.
Cookies
We use a minimal, essential cookie to keep you logged in. See our Cookie Settings page for details.
