StampCrossing v2

FAQ & Help

How does a Surprise Swap work?

You request an address, we match you with another member, and you post them 25 stamps. Once your envelope is confirmed as received, another member gets matched to send stamps back to you.

Is it really free?

Yes. You only pay for postage on the envelopes you send — the platform itself is free.

How many swaps can I have going at once?

There's a small limit on active (not-yet-received) swaps per member. This keeps things fair while the community grows, and it may increase over time.

What if I don't receive my swap?

Mail can occasionally go astray. If it's been a while and nothing has arrived, reach out via our contact page with your tracking code and we'll help sort it out.

What stamps should I send?

Only send stamps in good condition — no thin spots, tears, missing teeth, or heavy creases. It's the golden rule that keeps every swap a nice surprise.

Can I choose who I swap with?

Surprise Swaps are randomly matched — that's the fun of it! If you'd rather pick your trading partner, try a Direct Swap: post what you have, browse counter-offers from other members, and agree on a swap together.

I don't have a printer — can I still use this site to swap?

Yes. Printing the slip is just a convenience — what actually matters is the tracking code itself. You can simply write it by hand on your envelope (or on a small note tucked inside), as long as it's legible. Your partner will type it in or scan it just the same when it arrives.

Still stuck?
